This is a one and a half day workshop to look at shifting international trade routes and the implications of the planned expansion of the Panama Canal. Speakers will address shifts in global trade patterns; provide an update on the planned expansion of the Panama Canal; discuss trade lane competition; impacts on waterside and terminal development; landside and inland infrastructure development to meeting future infrastructure needs; and financing future infrastructure needs.
